De tanto buscar por algo sobre essa banda e achar tão pouca informação sobre.
Eis aqui um dos grandiosos sons da cena dark underground que foram produzidos na primeira década deste século no Brasil. Na época do lançamento deste disco, eu ainda era novo… tava apenas a 10m de profundidade da ponta do iceberg musical que foi o universo gótico para mim. Porém, ouvindo o som deles hoje, posso imaginar como os mais antigos quando ouviram (e viram) ao vivo essa banda ficaram a pensar. Lembro na edição de 2009 da Subterrâneo Gothic Rave (que foi de fato o primeiro evento do meio gótico que eu tive o prazer de presenciar), esta era uma das bandas mais esperadas. Eu havia ouvido um pouco do som deles neste disco de hoje, mas não tinha conseguido assimilar o naipe que este som estava. Então chegou o dia, eu lembro de estar deitado numa das torres do Castelo do Alemão e entrou algumas pessoas que não conhecia falando “vai começar o show do Latromodem”. Eu estava totalmente bêbado e cansado. Permaneci deitado; foi quando comecei a ouvir um som, que para mim a sensação eu descrevo como algo perto do surpreendente, pensava que alguém estava discotecando algum som (e dos bons!) e não dei atenção, até que depois de umas três músicas percebi que era de fato uma banda tocando e então, me veio a mente o cara anunciando que o show do Latromodem ia começar. Até hoje, me arrependo amargamente de não ter reunido forças e ir até o palco dentro do castelo para poder apreciar esta arte. Lembro que depois do show, haviam pessoas comentando sobre e era unânime em suas faces o semblante de surpresa; de algo do tipo “porra, não acredito no que vi”. E agora, ouvindo ao 11onze, posso entender o porquê de tudo aquilo. Não vou destacar aqui nenhuma canção por que não dá. Este disco é de fato algo totalmente descomunal. Foi algo que ninguém estava esperando e apenas os atingiu em cheio. Entre as letras ricas em um lirismo profundo e toda a melodia pesada, intensa; o público que estava ali então pôde observar toda a influência da música dark dos 80s, música essa que era a principal causa da união de tantas pessoas naquela noite. Gótico, pós punk, synthpop (por que não?)... tudo reunido em um único míssil sonoro indo de encontro as mentes ali presentes. Neste evento, ainda pude assistir pela primeira vez o Plastique Noir e um show memorável da Les Enfants, mas isto vai ser assunto para outra postagem…
Lançaram ainda o álbum Elizabeth em 2010 e após a saída de Robson, foi lançado o III.

Here is one of the most majestic sounds from the underground dark scenario that was made in the first decade of this century in Brazil. Back in the year of this release, I was young... I was just at 30ft deeply from the top of the musical iceberg that was the gothic universe for me. But listening to their sound in nowadays, I can imagine how the older ones had feeling about their sound when saw it live. I remember the 2009 edition of the Subterrâneo Gothic Rave (which was in fact the first ever gothic event that I had the pleasure of witnessing), Latromodem was one of more expected bands. I've heard some songs from this today's album, but had not been able to assimilate how grandiose this sound was. So the day has come, I remember I was laying down in one of the towers of the castle (place of event) and some people I don't knew just come inside the tower and tell that "the Latromodem' show is about to beggining". I was tottally drunk and tired. I remained lying down. And so I start to hear some sound and I remember thought "wow this is great". I thought someone was DJing and I giving no attention. After the second or third song I recalled the guys telling about the Latromodem show. I still regret not getting up and going to the stage to watch the show. I remember after the show, saw some people talking about it and in their faces was unanimous the look of surprise, like "I don't believe what I just saw". And now, listen to the 11onze, I can understand why people had that look. I'll not point out none of this songs because it's kinda impossible. This album is something totally smashing. It was something that people didn't expect and just hit them hard. Between the lyrics rich in lyricism and all the dark and dense melody, the audience could see the 80s gothic/post punk influence, and this influence was the main reason of the public had united at that event. I still could watch my first show of Plastique Noir and a memorable show of Les Enfants, but this is a topic for another day...
They release in 2010 an album called Elizabeth and after Robson left the band, was released the III.
