>>> Asylum Party was a great French band from Coubervoie. One of the first who came up with Touching Pop (mixing elements of coldwave/darkwave influenced by bands of the first half of the 80s), together with bands as Mary Goes Round, Little Nemo, Ópera de Nuit, and others. They produced an excellent sound, however, wasn't the necessary to keep the band along the years that extended after the band break up. Some say that their sound was relatively better than the other famous bands with the same style from era, like The Sisters Of Mercy, and this is an ultimate reality (my opinion, of course). The attention given to the musical arangements in this album makes us wonder why the band didn't continue over the years. This album have a peculiar sound compared to previous, with more worked and arranged songs without the marked minimal influence.
They release just three albuns, a mini LP and two LP's. The last album was Mère, release in LP and CD. In CD version was added the single Ticket To Ride, with a version of Ticket To Ride from The Beatles and this is the version that I'm posting today. One more French jewel from 80s.
