Mais uma daquelas bandas que só lançaram um único material. E mais uma vez a Itália mostrando como se fazem bons sons. Temos um duo que transmitiu uma música na linha do minimal synth/minimal wave, e o faziam muito bem. Este curto EP foi lançado em '83 pela gravadora Electric Eye Records e, vejam só, há apenas alguns dias atrás (12/12/2013) foi relançado pelo selo americano Dark Entries. Buscavam um nome 'eletrônico' pra banda, daí surgiu Victrola e tevem seu primeiro lançamento com este nome na coletânea Gathered de '82 com "Into His Gloves" e em 2009 na coletânea Danza Meccanica com "The Mutant Glow" e "Behind The Door", ambas no arquivo. Quem gostar dos estilos citados, de certeza saberá apreciar essa banda.

>>> One more band that only released a single record. And one more time, Italy showing how to make good sounds. This duo transmitted a minimal synth/minimal wave sound, and did it very well. This EP was released in '83 by Electric Eyes Records and just a few days ago (12/12/2013) was released by the american label Dark Entries. They were seeking for an "electronic" name for the band, and has born Victrola with your first release in a italian compilation (Gathered, 1982) with "Into His Gloves" and in 2009 the compilation Danza Meccanica with "The Mutant Glow" and "Behind The Door", both in archive. Those who like of the sounds quoted, certainly will appreciate this band.
Uma banda que tenho escutado tanto nos últimos dias que merece o post. A Banda Invisível, a banda que nunca os vi tocar, de fato, mas queria muito poder ter assistido um show de perto. Formaram-se em 1998 unindo a música e a poesia para expressar o mundo oculto, invisível aos olhos. As influências vem direto dos anos 80, principalmente do gothic rock, com melodias fortes que encaixam perfeitamente nas letras ricas em lirismo que abrangem questões como a espiritualidade (Quando As Almas Se Encontram, A Música Invisível e Quando Os Corpos Se Encontram, para bons entendedores as mensagens dessas canções ficarão bem claras), o sofrimento causado pelo apego a matéria e questões sobre a filosofia de vida.
Destaco aqui Quando As Almas Se Encontram que abre o disco, com uma sonoridade agradável e uma pegada um tanto rápida; De Profundis que possui uma introdução simples mas que eu acho foda com o baixo e a bateria, entrando depois a guitarra emanando suas notas; Palavras Vazias, essa é a música! A guitarra ecoa durante toda a música com suas notas que entram em loop na mente, bem como o refrão ("Palavras vazias, a emoção me trai a cada dia, palavras vazias..."); e Quando Os Corpos Se Encontram, definitivamente, é uma canção que vai permanecer pra sempre em minha vida.
"E da luz eterna que surge todos os dias nas nossas vidas, retiramos nossas inspirações...
Tais sentimentos nunca serão percebidos fisicamente... Pois "o essencial é imperceptível aos olhos."
Gravaram duas demos sendo O Essencial É Imperceptível Aos Olhos de '99 e Olhos de 2002. O nome do álbum de 2004 tem uma ótima reflexão, A Era da Percepção; seria o momento de perceber aquilo que está invisível aos nossos olhos? Ao mundo invisível que se apresenta de todas as formas para nós mas não buscamos ao menos tentar percebê-lo? No arquivo contém ainda uma faixa bônus, Sobreviver No Final.

>>> A band that I've listened so much in these days and deserve the post. A Banda Invisível, the band that I never saw them play, indeed, but I really wanted to watch a show. They formed in '98 mixing the song and poetry to express the occult world, invisible to the eye. The influences comes from 80s, mainly from gothic rock, with strong melodies that fit perfectly with the rich lyricism lyrics, covering questions about the spirituality (Quando As Almas Se Encontram, A Música Invisível and Quando Os Corpos Se Encontram, for good perceivers the messages of this songs will be very clear), the suffer by the addiction at the material things.
I call attention at Quando As Almas Se Encontram that open the album, with a nice sonority and a bit rate half fast; De Profundis that have a simple but amazing introduction with the bass and drums, and the guitar soon after emanating your sound; Palavras Vazias, this is THE song! The guitar echoes by all the song with notes that start a loop in your mind, as well the chorus ("Palavras vazias, a emoção me trai a cada dia, palavras vazias... empty words, the emotion betrays me every day, empty words...); and Quando Os Corpos Se Encontram, permanently, it's a song what was stay in my life forever.

They recorded two demos, O Essencial É Imperceptível Aos Olhos from '99 and Olhos from 2002. The album name from 2004 has a great reflection, A Era da Percepção (The Era Of Perception); it was the moment to perceive that which is imperceptible to our eyes? The invisible world that appears to us in so many ways but we don't tried to perceive it? The archive contain a bonus song called Sobreviver No Final. Enjoy this brazilian sound!
Um dos álbuns que mais escutei em 2011 e que se tornou pra mim um dos melhores de todos os tempos. :] Static Movement nada mais foi do que um projeto paralelo formado por Diego Merletto e Arianna ou Froxeanne do The Frozen Autumn. Quando se seguia alguns shows após o, então, último álbum do Frozen Autumn, o guitarrista Claudio Brosio deixou a banda e imediatamente após este projeto foi montado. Não se distanciavam muito da linha musical seguida no TFA porém, tinham o diferencial de não haver guitarras e maior participação de Froxeanne nos vocais. Assim, lançaram em '99 o Visionary Landscapes onde o foco principal das músicas estava no eletrônico, no synthpop/future pop. Ao meu ver, um álbum melhor do que o anterior lançado pelo TFA, o Fragment Of Memories. Uma versão ainda mais eletrônica de There's No Time To Recall foi lançada neste álbum, sem as guitarras. Para mim, não há absolutamente nenhuma música que não agrade aos fãs da música eletrônica. O álbum se divide em 4 músicas cantadas por Diego, 4 por Froxeanne e 2 instrumentais onde podemos ver um perfeito uso dos sintetizadores (Elka Synthex, PPG Wave 2.2 e S.C.I. Pro-One), numa combinação de melodias, loops e as vozes marcantes de ambos. Poderia destacar Radio Station, Into Your Arms, The Waveshaper, Nouvelle Vague e a faixa título, mas mais uma vez digo, não há absolutamente nenhuma música que não agrade. Enfim, mais um som da Itália para o seu arsenal.

>>> One of the most listened albums for me in 2011 and that became one of the best of all time. :] Static Movement was just a side project by Diego Merletto and Arianna or Froxeanne from The Frozen Autumn. When had occurred some shows after the last Frozen Autumn album, the guitarrist Claudio Brosio has left the band and immediately this project was mounted. There's no far distances between the sound of TFA and Static Movement, but this last had a differencial of no guitars and more participation of Froxeanne in vocals. So, Visionary Landscapes was released in '99 with the main focus of the songs as electronic, synthpop/future pop. In my opinion, a album better than the last one from TFA, the Fragment Of Memories. A more electronic version of There's No Time To Recall was released in this album, no guitars. For me, there's absolutely no one song that don't delight the fans of electronic music. The album was divided in 4 songs sung by Diego, 4 songs sung by Froxeanne and 2 instrumental where we can see a perfect use of the synthesizers (Elka Synthex, PPG Wave 2.2 and S.C.I. Pro-One), in a combination of melodies, loops and striking voices. I could call attention to Radio Station, Into Your Arms, The Waveshaper, Nouvelle Vague and the title song, but one more time I say, there's absolutely no song that don't delight the fans. Enjoy one more band from Italy to your arsenal.
Dando seguimento às postagens anteriores, mais uma prova dos bons sons vindos da Itália mas com um fim prematuro. Aqui no Seu Arsenal já mostramos o Chromagain, hoje é a vez da Marbre Noir que fez um som na linha do gothic rock e lançaram apenas este EP que trago hoje. Esta banda que conseguiu expressar bem os elementos que absorviam da cena dark (não só italiana), tinham uma característica particular em comparação com as da época, sua maior parte era formada por mulheres com excessão apenas do guitarrista Fabio Vicenti e do baterista Fabrizio Spera.
Este foi o único registro deixado pela banda, lançado pelo selo Mantra Records em '86. Apenas deliciem mais este som.

in Seu Arsenal we have shown the Chromagain, today is the time of the Marbre
Noir that made a sound in the line of gothic rock and just released this EP
that I bring today. This band that expressed well the elements absorved from
the dark scene (not just from Italy), had a particular characteristic compared
with others of the same epoch, most of the band was formed by women only
exception of the guitar man Fabio Vicenti and the drummer Fabrizio Spera.
This was the only record
left by the band, released by Mantra Records in '86. Just enjoy this sound.

de Columbus, Ohio. E mais uma das bandas que eu lamento por terem lançado
apenas um EP, e com apenas 4 músicas! Faziam um som na linha do new
wave/synthpop e foram bem populares na cena alternativa de Columbus durante a
época em que existiram. Tocavam em galerias de arte e outros locais ligados a
arte de alguma forma. Neste ano, através da parceria entre aMedical Records e o blogCrispy
Nuggets foi
lançado um LP contendo as faixas deste EP e outras que também foram gravadas na
época mas não foram lançadas. Em Outubro de 2012,Gerald F. Nelson morreu antes mesmo de ter sido
completada a produção deste LP.

tracks! They made a sound in the new wave/synthpop line and were popular in the
alternative scene from Columbus during the band's existence. They played in art
galleries and other art venues linked in some way. In this year, by a
partnership betweenMedical Records andCrispy Nuggetsblog was released a LP containing the EP
tracks and other that was recorded in same time but not released. October 2012,Gerald F. Nelson passed away even before the
production of LP has been complete.
Com essa banda inicio algumas postagens sobre bandas com uma certa particularidade: lançaram apenas um único EP e sumiram neste mundo.
Não há muito o que falar sobre esta banda estadunidense. Apenas que fizeram um bom som com influências do deathrock, post punk e também algumas pitadas do gótico (a voz lembra a de Peter Murphy ou é apenas uma impressão?). Músicas bem arranjadas (gostei do baixo!), uma voz que se encaixa com os instrumentos... Este EP foi gravado em '89, produzido e lançado pela própria banda. Sem informações sobre a cidade de origem, porém, este EP foi gravado em Emeryville, Califórnia, no Dancing Dog Studios.

There's not so much to talk about this U.S. band. Only they made a good sound with influences by the deathrock, post punk and gothic too (the voice seems of Peter Murphy or it's just an impression?). Mais uma vez, a cena dark grega sendo bem representada. A South Of No North foi criada em Novembro de '83 em Atenas, e tiraram seu nome do livro de Charlles Bukowski. Na Grécia, muitos os consideram a melhor banda de darkwave/gothic rock de lá. Eles possuem todas as influências imagináveis para o seu estilo, como a Joy Division e Bauhaus, ambas são bem presentes no primeiro álbum de '84 lançado pela Creep Records, o Lacrimae Christi. Talvez só eu tenha notado uma influência vinda da The Mission (o vocal principalmente, que nota-se bem diferente do primeiro álbum, por exemplo) neste último álbum deles, que vos trago hoje, o homônimo South Of No North. Este álbum contém alguns doces 'backing vocals', mais um destaque do álbum. Destaco aqui "Angel", "Silver Rain" e "Pro Cabaret"; as duas primeiras são músicas um tanto animadas, diferentemente de "Pro Cabaret" onde há toda a densidade do darkwave da banda. "The House Of Breath" é quase uma canção para dormir, uma calma melodia dedilhada acompanhada da voz forte do Andreas.
Talvez a última aparição da banda foi no festival Elfentantz II em 2003 na Grécia (?), onde fizeram uma reunião exclusiva para tocar no festival. Este álbum possui duas versões, mas a única diferença em ambas é a ordem das músicas. Sem mais, enjoy it!

>>> One more time, the dark scene from Greece well represented. The South Of No North was formed in November '83 in Athens and they took their name from a book of Charlles Bukowski. In Greece, a lot consider them the best darkwave/gothic rock band. They contain all the imaginable influences to your style, like Joy Division and Bauhaus, both are clearly present in the '84 first album released by Creep Records, the Lacrimae Christi. Maybe only me has observed an influence from The Mission (mainly the voice, which is quite different from the first album, for example) in this last album, that I bring you today, the homonym South Of No North. This album contains some sweet backing vocals, another feature from album. I highlight here "Angel", "Silver Rain" and "Pro Cabaret"; the first of this two are lively songs, differently of "Pro Cabaret" that brings all the density of the band's darkwave. "The House Of Breath" is almost a lullaby song, a calm melody accompanied by the strong voice of Andreas.
Maybe the last appearance of the band was at the festival Elfentantz II in 2003 in Greece (?), where they made an exclusive meeting to perform at the festival. This album have two versions but the only diference is the order of songs. Enjoy it!
Posso dizer que me impressionei com o som desta banda. Vejo aqui fortes influências do Joy Division (seria "See The Light" uma influência direta?) e influências variando do post punk a música experimental, com uma atmosfera realmente envolvente. Aliás, acho que foi bem isso que eles queriam passar com suas músicas. E conseguiram.
"As nossas músicas são dedicadas aos loucos, aos inadaptados, aos rebeldes, aos agitadores, aos que colocam pinos redondos em buracos quadrados, aos que veem as coisas de forma diferente e que não gostam de regras."; consta no site oficial da banda.
A gravação do EP foi feita na Fábrica de Pólvora (Portugal), da forma como antigamente eram gravados as canções para os vinis, de forma direta, ao vivo. Mas este não foi o único benefício da Fábrica para a banda. Além de terem usado alguma espécie de auditório com uma excelente acústica para a gravação, a própria Fábrica deu nome a banda, junto a chuva que caía do lado de fora da mesma durante as gravações.
Sem mais, esta é uma banda que ainda vai (deve!) escrever um bom nome na cena underground e, baseado neste primeiro EP, posso dizer que podemos esperar muita música boa vinda das terras portuguesas.

The set recordings of this EP was made in the Fábrica de Pólvora (Portugal), like the old vinyls were recorded, directly, live. But this is not the only help from Fábrica to the band. They used any kind of auditorium with an excellent acoustic for recording, the own Fábrica gave name to the band, together with the rain that was falling in outside during the recordings.
No more, this is a band that still will (and shall) write a good name in the underground scene and based on this EP, I can say that we can expect a lot of good music coming from the portuguese lands.
Na Alemanha surgiu esta banda que produzia um som na linha do synthpop, mesclando com o minimal synth/wave, com influências do post-punk ("Travel", "Mysterious Eyes") e um baixo marcante. Se formou com membros das pequenas cidades próximas a Dortmund, na zona de Westfalia. "Wild World" é o hino da banda. As duas versões apresentadas nos dois EP's são ótimas, não consigo distinguir qual a melhor versão; a versão presente no "Remembering The Days" está mais para o lado minimal synth da coisa. A do segundo EP "A Thousand Faces" adere mais ao synthpop sem deixar de lado as raízes da primeira versão. "War" e "Don't Leave Me Drowning" são canções com uma melodia/letra mais sombrias. "Travel" junto a "Wild World" são as mais conhecidas. Neste segundo EP, a faixa título honra o posto que tomou; "A Thousand Faces (Night-Time)" é uma grande música com uma pegada minimalista e uma letra sobre o cotidiano noturno. No fim da carreira, juntou-se a banda um baterista que os acompanhou em alguns shows, entre eles um na Discothek Memphis de Dortmund, em 16 de Janeiro de '86, que eu postarei em breve. Aproveitem mais este ótimo som perdido dos 80s!

A Foreign Cinema é uma banda goianiense que habita agora a distante San Francisco nos EUA, nasceu da parceria entre Dave Han e Natalia Silva em 2008. Seu som carrega influências que passeiam entre o Cocteau Twins, The Cure (me remete ao Faith...), Depeche Mode e até mesmo o New Order; tudo isso mesclado com elementos do shoegaze e triphop. A banda iniciou com o Dave Han e Natalia Silva mas logo se juntou a eles Halleia Sadeghi nos teclados. Esta foi a formação do primeiro EP gravado por eles, o Non-Synchronous Sound que trago hoje. Atualmente a formação conta com Brandon Chaves no lugar de Halleia nos teclados e guitarras.
O som deles é facilmente absorvido por aqueles que gostam das bandas citadas acima. Fãs dos 80s e hipsters também são bem vindos. Ao mesmo tempo em que seu som mergulha no 'lado negro' das influências da década de 80, o shoegaze e o triphop trazem uma luz para tudo isso, balanceando o som. A faixa 3 é nada mais, nada menos que uma cover do Depeche Mode, o lado b do single Dreaming Of Me de '81, que eu arriscaria dizer ser melhor que a própria versão original. Recentemente, lançaram seu novo trabalho, o LP Monochromatic disponível para compra aqui, bem como os outros trabalhos. Sem mais, fiquem com mais esta joia desconhecida.

>>> Foreign Cinema is a band from Goiânia (Brazil) located in San Francisco, USA. It was born of the association of Dave Han and Natalia Silva in 2008. Their sound carries influences that passes through the Cocteau Twins, The Cure (make me wonder in Faith...), Depeche Mode and even New Order, all mixed with shoegaze and triphop elements. The band starts with Dave Han and Natalia Silva but soon Halleia Sadeghi joined them on keyboards. This was the line up of the first EP, the Non-Synchronous Sound that I bring you today. Nowadays the line up has Brandon Chaves in place of Halleia.
Their sound is easily absorbed by those who like the bands previously mentioned. 80's fans and hipsters are welcome too. At the same time Foreign's sound sink in the 'dark side' of the 80's influences, the shoegaze and triphop bring a light to all of it, balancing the sound. The third track is nothing more than a Depeche Mode cover, the b-side of the '81 single Dreaming Of Me, that I would venture to say that's better than the original version. Recently, they released their new work, the LP Monochomatic available here, as well as other works. Enough talk. Take this rare, precious jewel of music and enjoy it.
Há 14 anos atrás este grande cantor, compositor e produtor musical pôs fim a sua vida ao se atirar em frente a um metrô na estação de Wimbledon, Londres. Um gênio incompreendido da música, que não teve a merecida atenção das mídias da época, porém, ainda nos deixou ótimas canções tanto em sua carreira solo, como nos projetos anteriores (The Outsiders e The Sound).
Este álbum é cheio de ótimas músicas; músicas com ótimas melodias e letras (Universe Of You, a melhor letra deste álbum). Brittle Heaven, Flight 23 e Faithful (com aquela introdução nos teclados que fica na mente) estão entre as mais animadas do disco. Este álbum é uma verdadeira poesia que transmite muito bem os sentimentos de cada música para o ouvinte. Apenas uma curiosidade, este álbum foi gravado com os músicos de uma banda holandesa chamada de Sjako! que tocavam com Borland desde o início de sua carreira solo. Talvez esta seja a explicação para um tão bom encontro entre as melodias de todo o álbum.

>>> 14 years ago this great singer, songwritter and musical producer ended his life when threw yourself in front of a train in the Wimbledon Station, London. A misunderstood genius of music, that not had the deserve attention of the media of the time but still left to us great songs both in his solo career as well in your previous projects (The Outsiders and The Sound).
This album if full of great songs; songs with great melodys and lyrics (Universe Of You, the best of this album for me). Brittle Heaven, Flight 23 and Faithful (with the keyboard intro that sticks in your mind) are among the more animate songs. This album is a real poem that transmits very well the feelings of each song to the listener. Just a curiosity, this album was recorded with the musicians that played with Borland since the start of your solo career. Maybe this be the explanation to a so good encounter between the melodies of all the album.
This today's post is a homenage to this great musician and this album is for me the best: the Brittle Heaven.
Antes de tudo, quero dizer que o Seu Arsenal não é composto apenas de post punk, cold/darkwave, synthpop entre outros tantos gêneros aqui presentes, mas sim de boas bandas independente de seus estilos e influências e que penso dever compartilhá-las por aqui. :} Esta é uma banda brasileira criada na segunda metade da década de 80 pelo sobrinho de Tim Maia, o cantor e compositor Ed Motta, juntamente com o guitarrista Luiz Fernando Comprido. A banda foi batizada primeiramente com o nome de Expresso Realengo porém foi logo mudada para Conexão Japeri.
Ed Motta tinha apenas 16 anos quando gravou este álbum com o Conexão Japeri que é repleto de influências do funk e soul music e também do pop. Músicas como "Manuel" e "Vamos Dançar" estouraram nas rádios. Mas o disco em si não deixa nenhuma música a desejar (meu mero ponto de vista). "Seis da Tarde" é uma ótima música com uma pegada do soul e uma bela letra. "Um Love" é outra boa música com baixo e teclas marcantes, que ficam no ouvido. "Baixo Rio" e "Parada de Lucas" também tiveram seus bons momentos nas rádios. Enfim, todas as músicas foram marcos para o soul music nacional por que o disco em si deu uma nova cara para o soul brasileiro. Enjoy it.

This is a brazilian band created at the second half of 80's by the nephew of Tim Maia, the singer and composer Ed Motta, together with the guitar player Luiz Fernando Comprido. The band was baptized first with the name of Expresso Realengo but was renamed soon to Conexão Japeri.
Ed Motta was only 16 when recorded this album with Conexão Japeri that was replete of funk/soul and pop influences. Songs like "Manuel" and "Vamos Dançar" made huge radio hit. But the album itself leaves any song to be desired (my mere point of view). "Seis da Tarde" is a great song with a soul vibe and a great lyric. "Um Love" is another great song with a striking bass and keys, that keep in the ears. "Baixo Rio" and "Parada de Lucas" also had your good moments on the radio. Anyway, all songs was a milestone in national soul music 'cause the album gives a new 'face' to the brazilian soul. Enjoy it.
A Days Are Nights é um projeto criado por Dennis 80's em 2006, quando ele deixou a banda Dancing In Tears. Com melodias fortes e um lirismo marcante, cantando em português como também no bom e velho inglês temas que abordam o modo de viver em sociedade, sobre os ressentimentos humanos que são aprisionados no eu interior e degradam sempre mais e mais, além do lado cristão do vocalista. As influências da banda vem diretamente dos anos 80 (a começar pelo nome do fundador e principal membro), das mais diversas como o post punk, o darkwave e o coldwave. Bandas como Asylum Party e The Cure, além das brasileiras Arte No Escuro, Ethiopia, Legião Urbana e Violeta de Outono. O nome da banda veio, segundo Dennis, devido "a degradação humana, da falta de amor, de fé e irmandade das pessoas", penso que a partir disso vem a ideia de que todos os dias são escuros, assim, todos os dias são noites.
Em Setembro de 2006 foi lançado o álbum de estréia da banda, o Sounds Of The End (com uma melodia profunda, um álbum 'dark'), pelo selo 80's Records do próprio vocalista e líder da banda. Este disco teve uma ótima repercussão no cenário underground nacional bem como no da Europa, através de sites, fanzines, etc. Em 2008 foi a vez do Eu Te Vejo Dormir Enquanto o Tempo Nos Mata, que foi lançado também com exclusividade para download. O álbum de hoje foi lançado em 2010 pela Amarelo Discos: o About Boys And Flowers. Para mim este é o melhor disco da DAN, onde talvez estejam ainda mais presentes os elementos fundamentais da banda, tanto em melodia como em termos líricos. "Distroyed Streets" mostra-nos um bom post punk. Em "Dias de Chuva" (a melhor deste álbum para mim) nota-se a presença das influências do dark e coldwave. Eu imagino que "Ao Meu Redor" fale sobre a irmandade e também o modo de viver em sociedade, onde as pessoas estão sempre esperando o momento certo para afundar um punhal nas costas do outro. Ainda há a belíssima "Sobre Meninos e Flores" com uma doce melodia em meio a palavras sobre a vida e a juventude. Enfim, esta é a Days Are Nights, uma banda que consegue traduzir em suas canções algumas coisas do cotidiano de muita gente por aí. Enjoy it.

>>> Days Are Nights is a project created by Dennis 80's in 2006, when he's left the band Dancing In Tears. With strong melodys and a striking lyricism, singing themes that approach the life style in a society, the human resentments thas are imprisoned in the inner self and degrade more and more, as well as the christian side of the singer. The band influences comes directly from 80's (starting with the name of the founder and main member), from the post punk to darkwave and coldwave. Bands as Asylum Party and The Cure, also the brazilian bands Arte No Escuro, Ethiopia, Legião Urbana and Violeta de Outono. The band name comes, Dennis says, due "the human degradation, the lack of love, of faith and brotherhood of the people", I think, from that, comes the idea that every day is dark, all days are nights.
In September 2006 was released the debut album called Sounds Of The End (with a deep melody, a dark album), by label 80's Records of the vocalist and band leader. This album had a great repercussion in the underground national scene as well as from Europe, through sites, fanzines, etc. 2008 was the time of the album Eu Te Vejo Dormir Enquanto o Tempo Nos Mata, that was released with exclusivity in the internet to download. The today's album was released in 2010 by the label Amarelo Discos: About Boys And Flowers. For me this is the best album from DAN, where may be presents, the essential elements of band, both in melody as in lyrical therms. "Distroyed Streets" show to us a good post punk. In "Dias de Chuva" (the best of this album for me) note the presence of dark and coldwave influences. I imagine that "Ao Meu Redor" talk about the brotherhood and the life style in the society, where people are always waiting the right moment to sink a dagger in your back (understand this as something like treason). There's still the beautiful "Sobre Garotos e Flores" with a sweety melody with words about the life and youth. Anyway, this is theband that can translate some things of the everyday from people around the world, this is the Days Are Nights. Enjoy it.
Na época em que os focos musicais principais eram gêneros como o gótico, industrial (na época estava crescendo muito o uso de sintetizadores), etc., Patrick Mata buscou inspiração em algumas bandas e cantores da época juntamente com influências do movimento dada (ou dadaismo) e criou a Kommunity Fuck, que em pouco tempo foi renomeada para Kommunity FK. Assim foi surgindo um movimento mais underground denominado de deathrock, na cidade de Los Angeles (que mais tarde seria conhecida como o berço do deathrock). Outra das influências musicais vem do punk rock, horror e glam rock.
Lançaram o primeiro álbum com 5 anos de carreira e este que trago hoje é de '85, o Close One Sad Eye. Este álbum foi de grande impulso para a banda porém não os manteve em atividades por muito tempo mas ainda participaram de diversas coletâneas. Em 2010, após mais de 20 anos de lançamento do último álbum eles trouxeram um novo trabalho chamado La Santissima Muerte e continuaram a sequência de shows que estavam fazendo desde meados de 2006.
Este álbum contém ótimas músicas, como "Something Inside Me Has Died" que é um hino do deathrock. Ainda destaco aqui "Junkies", "Trollops" e a faixa que deu nome ao primeiro álbum "The Vision And The Voice". A última faixa é uma outra versão de "Something Inside Me Has Died".

>>> When the main musical focus were gothic, industrial (was growing so much use of synthesizers), etc., Patrick Mata searched for inspirations in some bands and singers of epoch and mix with your influences of dada moviment (or dadaism) and created the Kommunity Fuck, but soon renamed to Kommunity FK. So, an underground movement was emerging named deathrock, in LA (that later would be known as the deathrock city). Other musical influences come from punk rock, horror and glam rock.
Released the first album 5 years after start the career and this that I bring today was released in '85, the Close One Sad Eye. This album give a big boost to band, however, don't kept in activity for long time but still attended various compilations. In 2010, after more 20 years of the release of your last album, they bring to us a new work called La Santissima Muerte and continue the sequence of shows that were making.
This album contain great songs, like "Something Inside Me Has Died" that is a deathrock hymn. I can highlight "Junkies", "Trollops" and the track that named the first album "The Vision And The Voice". The last track is another version for "Something Inside Me Has Died".
